In a strange move, it appears Interscope has pulled promotion of "Young & Beautiful," as it approaches the bottom of the top 50, in favor of Born To Die cut "Summertime Sadness." It's listed here and has an add from WNOW New York this week.

YES at this being released. Although I love the original more than the remix, I can't complain. I heard this on the radio once before (the remix) and it sounded so fresh.

Also, 99.9% of the people listening to this on the radio will think it's a new song.

Okay after listening to the remix, there's no way this will do a thing on CHR, in my opinion. Pop just isn't that interested in generic dance, especially in the form of a random remix of a non-dance song like this. I really don't know why they'd choose to scrap "Young and Beautiful" for this? I mean, at the very least you'd think they'd remix "Young and Beautiful", not a random album track. But whatever, I didn't like the likelihood of "Young and Beautiful" eclipsing "Video Games"' popularity so I'm okay with it

THIS. "Young and Beautiful" had potential to do fairly well yet they didn't do a damn thing to make it happen. As much as I do like this song, I would prefer the original to be released, though I do like the Cedric Gervais remix as well. Lana is not a Dance/Electronic artist and that remix would misrepresent what she is really about.

Well it's not like a lot of pop stations are even keen on a song of hers that beings with her singing about her pussy tasting like Pepsi, and that's one of the most memorable songs from the EP.

I like Summertime sadness, but i don't understand this move.
She was near top 50 with Young and beautiful, and the song is in the billboard top 100 for several weeks (i think any of her other song peak so high or stay in the top 100 if she has any other top 100 at all).
Sometimes people who run artist career seem to sabotage their chances of having success
